Phat Pizza & Burger is a little spot located on a very busy section of Brighton Road in Elwood. This unassuming location is sporting a surprisingly large menu, from classic pizza to mammoth burgers.
Whenever I visit a burger joint for the first time I always go for the house burger, because no matter how fancy the menu might be, you need to get the classics right.
The house burger here comes with beef, cheese, onion, pickles, ketchup and mayo on your choice of bun, naturally I went for the black ash bun. Although heavy on the sauce, this burger was full flavoured with a nicely seasoned patty. They also offer a large selection of sides, the chips are very tasty and the popcorn halloumi is a nice touch.
