It should come as no surprise that metalcore upstarts Thornhill have announced their first national headline tour ‘Coven’. For those living under a rock Thornhill burst onto the scene when they released their first EP ‘13’ while still studying at high school. The band has continued made their mark releasing the huge follow-up EP ‘Butterfly’ – one of my favourite releases for 2018. This EP saw the five piece spend the year touring alongside some of Australia’s finest metal acts including In Hearts Wake, Make Them Suffer, and Polaris.
To capitalise on a huge year the band have announced their first national headline tour which will be sure to pull the crowds. To get the fans pumped every evening the band have brought along djent metallers Diamond Construct. Just like Thornhill, 2019 shapes to be a big year for the Sydney-siders with the band signing to Greyscale Records and releasing the huge track ‘Submerged’ in late 2018.
