Heavy Metal music reaches people in many different ways and it can become something that gives your life meaning and drive. This is very true for many residents of the Navajo Reservation in Arizona.

Reservation Heavy Metal or “RES METAL“, combines well known metal themes with traditional culture. A DIY attitude is a huge part of the scene as there are no music venues on the Reservation, so bands will often build their own stages or use flat bed trucks in order to play live shows.
