DRUID – DTHBLW

Cover shot – DRUID

Melbourne based DRUID dropped their latest single DTHBLW giving us a fresh piece of their twisted, mashed- up nu-metal/metalcore sound.

“…plays an integral part of the overarching story told throughout our upcoming album ‘The Beauty and The Decay’ as it’s the moment when our character comes to grips with the atrocities he has committed. Whilst exploring themes around depression and self loathing it’s also a commentary on how people will do what needs to be done to get ahead in life and that we’re all not that different from each other.” – DRUID

DTHBLW continues the narrative set by their lead single Room 44, finding the protagonist in a black void, where he is now in an endless cycle of death. He is trying to escape his demons whilst coming to grips with the passing of his partner. The cover art of each single is also unique, bringing the viewer/listener one step closer to the final view.

DTHBLW is out now on all good streaming services here, and you can keep up to date with DRUID on social media – FacebookInstagram

You can see more from DRUID on their official YouTube channel.

TWELVE FOOT NINJA – Long Way Home Video game

Cover shot – TWELVE FOOT NINJA

Australia’s heavy experimental rock band Twelve Foot Ninja are back with ‘Long Way Home’ their first music in over 4 years. Despite this hiatus, the Ninja boys have been recording, filming and preparing a large amount of new music, videos, and a unique Twelve Foot Ninja video game.

‘Long Way Home‘ is a high energy track produced by Stevic Mackay and mixed by Forrester Savell and is elevated by a frenetic 12-piece orchestra!

“We tried to create something that harnessed the power of ACDC with a bend of surrealism, like eating a meat pie through your ear. This song is about the ‘real world’ becoming harder and harder to agree on…I’d rather take the path of resistance, the long way home, than acquiesce to relativism.” – Stevic Mackay – guitarist – video game creator

‘Long Way Home’ is now available on all digital stores and streaming platforms and can be accessed here with the video game playable at www.unclebrusnik.com.

You can check out more from Twelve Foot Ninja on their official YouTube channel.
